See pic. Saw this over memorial day weekend. Anyone else seen someone with an umbrella in the ski pylon slot? Was thinking of buying one....not sure if cobalt has an official umbrella but id think any would do as long as it fit properly.

It must use a custom locking mechanism from the ski pylon. Grab one from j Cramer and fab it to work with hd puchase

Sooner....do you have you pylon handy? Can you measure it?

My pylon just slides down and then screws into the recepticle

U prob need that screw to secure so wind does not gust up and take the umbrella

Yea id agree but for a cost difference of roughly $950 perhaps we just deploy on less windy days.

Hey All! Checking in as the moron that would actually buy one! :-)

I just received mine this week. I purchased without seeing it first (save it!) to hopefully be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't. The best part about this was probably the pylon. The umbrella, while nicer than your typical Walmart special, is just a normal umbrella. It's only available in black with no Cobalt logos, etc. Save your 1K, go to a machine shop to have a pylon made, and spend the rest on fuel.

I blame the purchase on my admiral. :-) She was concerned about being stuck in the hot sun while moored/swimming/etc.

I do not it is in the boat in the slip. I really like the idea of the umbrella on the beach or anchored so I am going to grab it this weekend when we head down. Then I am going to try and have my guys in the shop fab something. Stay tuned and I will update!

I had intended on bringing an umbrella from the lake house to Table Rock Lake this week for that very purpose. That is, since my fly screen got shot down...
