Fire on Lake Hartwell

This is pretty insane. Huge fire today at Portman Marina in Anderson, SC:

Guy working on his generator and it backfired....read like 20 boats affected...no major injuries.

Oh wow. What a shame. Hopefully good insurance will help alleviate the pain of those boat owners. Tough to look at those hulls on fire.

Damn.....that is crazy....what a horrible bit of news for other boat owners there, even with insurance coverage....

Yeah but a chunk of the season is lost too. I'm certain there are a few "Mint Condition" boats that went up with some pleased owners.
