Snap Repair

One of the snaps that holds my carpet in ripped out of the fiberglass. I bought a screw repair snap, but the hole is too big. The fiberglass appears to have stripped out a bit, so i don't know what options I have to fix this snap. It is on the pass through carpet and as such, hits the wind and flips up the carpet so I need to repair it.
(sorry, no photo's, but i'll see if I can grab one if it is needed)
Any ideas?

You can buy screw in snaps that are a larger stud size....#10 vs. #8. The best option is to repair the hole with epoxy, re-drill and install the new snap.

Good info Shawn, thanks. I've had to replace a couple on the fabric but none have pulled out of the fiberglass yet (knock on wood)
