Welcome from St. louis/Table Rock Lake. That is a nice boat you have there and add another one to the black boat mafia. Love the pictures and the action shots! What lake will you be using it at mostly? And glad you found us!

I live 50 minutes from 4 lakes. The best for what we like to do, which is about an hour of skiing, then anchor and swim, then tube for an hour, is Pineview Res. in Eden Utah. It gets crowded on Saturday's, but still can find some glass early in the morning.

Hey stan1541. Great pictures! So glad you found us.
You’re going to love cockpit heaters. One of my wife’s favorite features as well on our 263.
Looks like you use your Cobalt the same way we do — watersports and swimming.
Welcome aboard mate.

"Comes with a 5.7 GXi with 545 hours. The outdrive and F5 props are only 60 hours old after the owner and a large log played chicken (He lost)."
Stan, welcome to the Cobalt chat club- great group here! Nice looking 226- I have a 2001 with the same power package except with F4's for Lake Tahoe, 6223' elevation, your around 5000'. Curious how your F5's do at your lake- I can hit about 48-50 WOT "5000rpm easy" and have been thinking about moving up a pitch... Thanks.

I have perfect pass on the system which replaced the speedometer. WOT i got to about 4800 and the speed hits 41. That was with 900 lbs of people and 100 lbs of gear and 1/2 tanks. I have a GPS i'm going to use next time because I think that speed is low and the PefectPass needs calibration. But, i've only had it out once, so i'll update as I learn what it really is doing.

Is yours the factory installed perfect pass? If so, I called up PP and they sent me an upgrade that reuses everything but the "brain" and gauge. Converted to straight GPS.
