So when does YOUR boating season start?
I am in western ky and hoping that mine will start this weekend, if not maybe next weekend. Most others in my area do not start until next month.

That depends on your perspective Judd. Mine started about January when I started all my updates and mods, so I got to spend lots of quality time with my boat.
But I won't get on the water for another couple weeks. I had every intention of being on the water two weeks ago but the weather had other plans. I'd be there now but work and family commitments are getting in the way. I'm in Florida this weekend and my kids and grandbabies will be here next weekend, so (weather permitting) I'll launch in 3 weekends!

Mid June for us.
Our business doesn’t allow a day off until mid June at the earliest. In May and June, we have two businesses to run.
Mother’s Day, Memorial weekend, Father’s Day, and people wanting to grill 24x7 when it warms up. Boating earlier?

Hopefully I'll be boating next weekend but I cant really say our season starts then. I cant get away from work on the weekends until the last or second to last weekend of April and around that time the weather is extremely unpredictable. So while we may get random chances to head out its more hit or miss till we start pushing into May.
Meh, scratch that. Boating season officially begins when the boat is dewinterized and its over when it has to get winterize

Thats a more measurable way to go about it anyway.

April - Nov is comfortable here. Can go year round without a problem but it's not as enjoyable Dec - Mar.

Our season never really ends. We have patches when boating would not be comfortable but typically we never winterize nor take the boats out of the water. 75* today.

My boat is going in the water Saturday and I plan on boating till Mid October. So you can say Mid april to Mid october. Can't really get in the water till June however. That is usually when the temps get above 70

Hey Judd...was in your neck of the woods Mon/Tuesday for work...got to catch a glimpse of the lakes...snapped a quick pic out my window.
We usually are good to go starting Memorial Day weekend...I always want to start earlier but it just depends on weather and other commitments...at the rate we are going the water won't be comfortable to swim in until July! Lake temp for us is sitting at 51 this week...gonna need some WARM weather to bring that up!

Early March there are a few pleasant days, but by Easter it is usually game on until early - mid. December.

Really I saw nothing wrong with boating there on January or February.
