Hi all, been away for a bit. Back with questions / requests. Does anyone have a picture of their windlass on the 282 that shows how it is installed in the anchor locker? Anyone install an aftermarket windlass? Seven weeks till boat pickup. There better not be ice on the great lakes still!

Hey pal.. glad it's getting closer to delivery..

I'll be working on her this week and try to get a shot of the below setup.. it does have a glassed in shelf from Cobalt.
They do make aftermarket ones that may go over the top like the 292-293 models used.

I not sure I would want to add one unless your locker compartment already looks like Matts. Markus do you have pictures of yours

Thanks for all these pictures. Much appreciated. I am not great about responding in a timely fashion so my apologies. Really want to add the windlass option so this was very helpful. I am going to inspect the boat a week from today. Trailer ordered. Arch ordered. Boat better pass inspection/survey - yikes! Will post pics.

1. It is almost boating season!! Going to pick up 282 on May 11. Survey was good and everything is a go. Cannot wait to actually belong in Cobalt Chat by having an actual operating boat
2. Could not coordinate Samson tower and required cover / canvas modifications while boat was not in my possession. Getting boat home and then having dealer here install tower then I can take it directly to canvas company and they can do mods. Did not want to leave boat uncovered for multiple weeks or tow it halfway across country without covers (anal I know). Samson is holding tower for me and they have been really patient and helpful while I screwed around with this.
3. Now more requests because everyone has been really helpful with all my neediness or y'all are just pitying me. Either way i'll gladly accept the help:) Anyone have a parts manual or ideas where I can obtain the part numbers for the stainless steel plates, both exterior on the bow/hull and interior in the anchor locker, which allow for anchor rode to pass thru? My local Cobalt dealer isn't providing great information and is really slow in responding. (in their defense this is crazy season for boat prep and launches)
