And took the Canoe for a evening sunset fishing cruise & booze.

Matt it looks like you and your Bride are having a good time with your "steadyasarockNinjaskillz". If I was on there with you, no doubt we would end up in the sewer.
And I like the different prospective of your boat. It looks to be close to your neighbor but probably just the angle? Is there an HOA or Delta rule that says you can't have a dock extending out into the channel? Is your lift pinned at the seawall or does it rise and fall with the walkway? I cant remember how much you said it fluctuates with the tide.
There is an Hoa for no covered Docks. It extends out from the levee about 25ft and the Dock is floating. (6ft tide movement) Hydrohoist with walkway floats.
I’d love to have yours, and the setups we saw a TR as I like the community type covered Docks!

Ahh. I figured as much. Still, it's a cool setup, and it's still interesting to see the difference around the country, just as we discussed over one of the many lemonades we shared!
Speaking of... Yesterday my son-inlaw graduated from the OCPD and is now a member of the thin blue line. So naturally, at his celebration party last night, I had to introduce him to car bombs. Just so he'd be familiar with them in the event of an actual emergency. Thank you ole buddy! I think?
Uhhhg. And on a weeknight. What the heck was he thinking?

I'm sorry I haven't posted much.. crazy busy with new management role, training for Ironman AZ and making umbrella adapters.. oh, and using our Cobalt! We've enjoyed more hours so far this year than possibly all of last season. Here's some pics from last weekend with our cousins.
