Love Tool! Saw them live once, it was awesome. I've been hoping they will tour again. I haven't seen APC live but I like them too, also Puscifer.Table Rockin wrote: Wed Mar 07, 2018 9:17 pm Thunder your a tool fan? Do you like a perfect circle? Ive seen both in concert. JKM puts on a powerful show.

This. Tool is the most complex music I've ever heard.Tuscany wrote: Thu Mar 08, 2018 7:27 am
Tool is an acquired taste, but when understanding their music, it’s not a song, it’s more musical art.
Love it! Nice mix of stuffNautiGirl wrote: Wed Mar 07, 2018 6:23 pm You and your wife sound just like Jeff and I...your list is identical to his...I always get on him for leaving my truck on the "Lithium" channel...lol.
Boat playlist are a good mix of everything...i like to put it on shuffle and see what happens but there is everything from Dr. Dre, SnoopDogg, Usher, Warren G, Vanilla Ice, Ludacris, Kid Rock,Beastie Boys,Dave Matthews, Justin Timberlake, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapelton, ZBB, all my bro country (Jeff hates it) Journey, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, ...the list could go on and on...I didn't even touch on my classic country...needless to say I like variety when we are floating and drinking...
But there is never an inappropriate time to bust out Regulators of Ice Ice Baby....always gets the crowd going!
Thanks for sharing A7. I like the music...trying to disassociate the mime makeup guy visualAsLan7 wrote: Wed Mar 07, 2018 7:47 pm Nauti & T550, I love your playlists. Great artists there. I'll introduce you to another artist. A little gem our family likes from a little known band out of San Diego, CA. You may hate it but the intent is to broaden our horizons here with this thread. Enjoy some SPG from 2012...![]()
My ear hole thanks you. Listened to this on my way out the door.Tuscany wrote: Thu Mar 08, 2018 6:31 pm Here’s a little more pleasure for your ear hole.
Personally, my favorite song of all time, and to me, the closest thing to a perfect song. Gives me chills today..
I remember listening to this back when it was first released, and it remains my favorite almost 50 years later.
Another fun fact..the group never had a bass player. The guy playing bass was actually on break from Elvis Presley, was in L.A, and joined in at the studio.
One of the most recognizable base lines of all time. Right there with Billy Jean.

Have a glass of wine, put on a nice set of top quality ear buds or headphones, and listen to “Reflection” from the Lataralus album. IMO, Shear effing musical genius. It wouldn’t hurt to prelude that piece with “Disposition”, the song before it on the album. Hell, that entire Album is genius.thunder550 wrote: Thu Mar 08, 2018 7:24 pmThis.
