Would waiting for the boat shows be a good idea? They have a couple big shows in nyc, and ac nj, both after the new year?

I would say no. Then your looking at 2018 boats and that price will be higher than the 2017.plus that's the prime time of boat selling. Now is when you should get the best price. It's all up to the dealer on how much they want to deal. Each one is very different. What about that one in the $60's? You go newer your going to be close to $80 then work your deal from there. T and some other guys that just bought new ones will have a better idea then me though.

Prices will be higher after the boat shows because the buyer pool is so much deeper. Anytime between now and a week before Christmas is the time to buy a big ticket item like a boat or vehicle. After that sellers can afford to wait through the holidays to sell for a higher margin.
Also keep in mind... If you order after the boat show you'll likely miss at least half of the season coming up. Keep looking! Expand your search. You boat is setting out there equipped just the way you want it waiting for you to find her!

A 7,
Not sure really...
Just wondering how many saw the movie I guess...just a great movie.
If I send you a pic of my boat, can you reduce it for me? I'm just not computer savvy enough.

Boat show pricing is a ruse.. Just another way to perceive a false additional discount that could/should be had any day.
Do your pricing homework.
I saw an R7 at a Naples Florida show last spring that was very similar to mine in MSRP, but with a roughly 30k higher "show price" from what I paid. Granted, we’re talking about a Naples/Buffalo comparison, but dealer cost is the same.
You just have to be lucky enough to have a local dealer with a different outlook on sales. My dealership was all about getting Cobalt boats on the water, and not trying to squeeze every last cent out of it because it was a "Cobalt".
If you can’t buy a new boat from a dealer who will discount, I would buy used.. eating a large amount of depreciation would be hard for me.

This is a really nice boat, electronic shift and many other good options. Think I was quoted mid 60's trailer included. I was tempted but decided to order for color and a few other options.
Seems like a great guy to do business with.

Remember, options are usually prewired and can be added easily.

I would have been all over this for ya’, T. Did John or YTMSN do that for u? Looks like it came out great. Much better avatar describing your passion.

Haha..
A stone cold psychopath and sociopathic killer was maybe a little off of the target here..
Still a great movie who I highly recommend. Javier Bardem was incredible in that role..
Actually, I use that avatar on a Buffalo Bills site I follow once in a while. Being a fan of the Bills takes a certain mental "irregularity"
It was sized right and fit..
YT took care of it for me. Thanks to our bro from Ok.

Yes...when I saw that, it blew my perception of you right out of the water, Tuscany.
To me, an avatar is an extension or representation of someone’s passion. (As a general pattern). To have that psychopath as your avatar made me question our Niagara Falls river excursion. Thought you may be requesting “Jack Nicholson’s” character from the Shining next!
You’re right though. Great movie. ( both of them).

Hahahaha, that's funny A7. Don't be scared

Being a Bills fan, the best avatars are on Bills sites where the only thing we can agree on is how maddening it is to be a fan of our team!
I can relate with our very own Pittsburgh Pirates my friend. Ughhh
... and I’m really looking forward to that outing on the Niagara with you guys and some of our family. Kinda like a boating formation. With our heavy concentration on water sports, that will be a new experience.
