If course, what a great idea, they may even make something like it for the new connector.

Checking measurements, but I think this will fit.

They have certainly gone down hill since Jobs died. I even dumped my Apple stock. Nothing innovative now--they r trying to keep up with everyone else.

That being said, we do have all apple phones IPods, and Ipads. Don't see us changing for the foreseeable future. Just too much hassle and inconvenience to switch.

Btw--that's AWESOME Driller!!!
....and that is one heck of a George Costanza wallet my friend. :D

Internet pic. I was just thinking about buying some more Apple stock this week.

iPhone 8, iCar, etc.

Apple stuff just works. Easy to use, and the comms between all the devices is first class. My laptop, desktop, and phone all sync. Take a photo, it's on the desktop.

Samsung makes a good phone, but the sharing is limited.

I see Apple the same as most here. Nothing new. Ho hum..but we use their products because they work. I'm using an iPad Pro right now. But, I agree, nothing new since Jobs, and his relentless passion to invent passed.

Microsoft, who has been out of the recent picture has been very busy developing the next new thing..
Household robots.
Gates sees everyone owning a personal electronic servant in the future, in the same way we all rely on these silly electronic devices today. I have read that most of their resources have been directed toward developing it..

Rosie, I could a warm up for my coffee please..

Correct T.
AI is coming and it's coming fast.
The conversations between Elon Musk of Tesla and Bill Gates are quite interesting--if not alarming at times.

Soon skynet will become self aware

Rant..maybe I'm getting old.
Personally, I hate technology, and see social "connection" like Facebook the worst thing for developing a better, more confident generation.
Now, kids can't even rely on the sanctuary and safety of their own home. Now, bullying can happen 24x7. Everyone would be lost, and chaos would reign if we lost service for more than 3 minutes..
I fire people for texting while working at our store. Want to go home for good? Pull out your phone and comment on some random FB post..

So, I like connecting to read and have fun talking about similar interests, but I am not a FB guy who posts in real time every move I make or every fart I blow.

Im with ya --maybe 90% there T.

Don't have FB twitter Snapchat.....,,,,
A few forums for our hobbies and that's it.

I do love technology when it makes my life easier.
Those things mentioned above...not so much.

Yeah well... I got all self-righteous when I told my wife that I very rarely ever use Facebook. She called me a dork. When I asked why she asked if I had spent any time on Cobalt chat lately?

It's different.
Really IMO, it is. We're a small group reaching out to have a conversation about a topic we can't just talk to anyone about. If I brought up my boat to my neighbor, he would rightfully think I was a little self absorbed. It probably pisses them off anyway, especially when it parades down the road on our way out to the lake.
I have a Facebook account, but I only use it for our business FB. When I see the crazy political opinions, minute by minute posts of someone crying out for attention, or pictures of someone sharing their foot fungus with the world, I just SMFH... :?

I still doubt my reasoning would float with your wife..and definitely not mine!

My team knows- don't send me a text and think we have communicated. I check text about 4 times daily. When I want to, no slave to the phone. Call me or e-mail where I have a record. They hate it when I reply and include the e-mail from 3-months earlier.

Such great ideas here to improve your lifestyle.
Great fellowship too with like minded folks.
So easy to post in this virtual world too.
Great to catch up on what's going on in all of your lives.

Hmmmmm, am I describing Facebook or CobaltChat. :? :? :?

(Does Mark Zuckerberg own a Cobalt)????😜
