Well, i just bought a new to me 1995 252 and I'll follow suit with many of your upgrades!
I already got the quote on the swim platform, which came with pictures of your boat as an example of course.
I've ordered stainless steel cupholders, teak vinyl for the instrument panels, and new steering wheel.
Full on copycat coming your way!
Boat is a 496 with a Bravo 1, no captains call, no trim tabs.
Did you go tonSwimplatforms.com? How much did they quote you? What options did you have quoted?
I did. They are very fast to reply with options and pictures. Including shipping and stainless rub rail for an extra $150 I think ill be just over $2K. shipping is pretty expensive as its a big item.
Pricing:
Our Cobalt 252 BR & 253 CC Swim Platform package is $1675.00.
This includes all stainless steel mounting hardware, 3 step ladder, oval port, rubber molding and
installation guidelines.

Do you have any tips for redoing the dash panel pieces?
I was E mailing Tecno Grafic about replacing them and it's just not in the cards at this time. So I will be taking them on myself for now.
***NOTE**** Tecno Grafic has the drawings for the 252, so they can make perfect copies of our panels. Only difference was the glove box insert was different from mine to their drawing

Iβm going to pull mine and have them hydro dipped burl wood.

Really interested in seeing that.
Are you doing the whole panel or just the wood "inserts"?
I was surprised when E mailing back and forth with Sam at Tecno Grafic that they were going to make a whole new panel, not just the wooden insert.

Hi Thunder 550
Noticed you removed the factory ladder
Do you still have it and would you want to sell and ship to Pa?
By the way swim platform and sea deck looks great

Hey there! Yes I still have the factory ladder, it's collecting dust in my attic. If you can use it I'd be happy to send it your way if you just cover the shipping cost. Shoot me a PM if that works for you

As you said earlier it's nice not having to work on the boat nonstop!! Once you get to that point you just get to enjoy it!!
