Well, an interesting turn of events.........without divulging too much information (the deal was a win for both of us)..... I was offered a buy on the stock R7 while I await my order boat which should arrive as a 2019 in July. I took delivery last Saturday and am happy that'll I have a boat for the relatively short Michigan boating season!

For some reason, the Rockford seems to lockup when playing music via Bluetooth from my iPhone (only fix is to disconnect the batteries or pull the radio breaker) Hopefully the dealer can help me sort that. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

Awesome. Now you've taken delivery before my build, so you are obligated for the additional pictures! Glad you got it worked out. Did you make any updates or changes to your order? I received my Hull ID and Engine # today. Cobalt said it will be shipping to dealer week of May 21st!

Agreed. Makes my “big” Yukon look like a toy truck. Pulls it OK but I wouldn’t want to go much bigger/heavier. I will get more shots soon.

Congrats. So let me get this right. You bought the stock r7 2018 with the 430? And ordered a 2019 so your going to trade in the r7 you just bought? Did you go with a 430 in the 2019 with open exhaust

Well.....when you put it like that it sounds a little crazy, now doesn’t it!!???!! LOL. Let’s just say it was very little out of pocket (few hundred) to do it this way. Great sales team/ownership. This is actually a 2017 which was one of my concerns (effectively a 2-year old - new - boat this coming summer).

Yes. The new new one still has the 430 but with added CC, tower, and a few other options.

Damn first world problems.... I can't wait for my new boat I ordered to come in so I bought a still new but old boat to entertain me while I wait! NICE!

Now go get a bigger truck for when the 2019 shows up!

I deserve the punches. But it was a good deal and got me on the water more quickly! Plus it puts TWO R7’s in circulation! This one will be on the market in an. Few months and is a great boat. Lots of options you wouldn’t normally see on a boat out of stock.

The new boat has arrived. However, due to work/travel, I may not take delivery for a few weeks. The dealer sent me a few pictures to hold me over. They're working on installing tower speakers and amplifier. (I ordered the Roswell package sans tower speakers..)

Thanks. On another topic, there will be a nicely equipped 2017 R7 with the 430 on the market shortly! Only a few hours on the clock (less than 15, I beleive).
