If I ever decided to beach my boat I would install some sort of keel guard.

I've beached not a big deal to me. It's not nice on the gel though. Those pebbles no I'm not beaching there. We're there are small ones the big ones are not far away. If I have a dock close no way would I beach though. Or just anchor or a bit and walk in. Plus I wouldn't leave it beached all day on night.
T hope you feel better soon. Reaction to meds it's no fun.been there.

These guys didn't mind the rocks apparently. I don't know anything about fishing boats but the one on the right is a nice looking newer Chaparral. To each their own I guess. I could hear the crunch when he beached.

Worst sore throat of my life, including the pain from when I had my tonsils out when I was 38. Texted my Dr, and ended up in the emergency room. That's where they found the med reaction.
I'll be better in a couple of days. Already feeling better this morning.
THE BILLS ARE IN A HE PLAYOFFS! Probably won't go far, but we broke the drought and finally have a real coach and GM, so that helps the mood!

My boat weeps.. those Lake Havasu pictures are enough to make any northerner cry like a little girl. I'm dreaming of summer 18'!
I am waaaay to anal to put any kind of rash on my colored hull. I'm betting that BB's beaching days will be behind him when he takes delivery of the orange Surf!
Happy New Year peeps!

Very true the dreamsicle would never get beached. Yes when you spend that kind of money to me yes a different story. Not that any of our boats are chump change.
I had med reaction to my heart meds and I was burning from me head to my toes and had to have ice under me and on my chest it was the worse thing I've every gone through. Yes worse then my kidney stones. I feel for you T.

Sucks, but bumps in the road my friend.
Easier to say now than it was yesterday though.. I was reaching for my "break the glass" meds left over from my shoulder surgery. It didn't touch the pain..

.
Mine had to do with an "out of the blue" reaction to blood pressure meds swelling my throat on top of strep throat.

Much better now thanks to prednisone and an antibiotic.
I'll have to see my Dr. tomorrow to get my BP meds changed. I've got my mothers BP issues from a young age. Good news is that she's still kickin' pretty good at 88 years old.
All Cobalt boat owners like us are probably cut from the same cloth. I'm guessing our boats and then the dreamsickle may have armed guards around it every time you dock. When you work hard for something top shelf, it's only natural to be a little overprotective. Being anal has its drawbacks. I have a hard time leaving it at a dock for dinner...knowing how many disrespecting drunks tightly dock in front of in the rear of my boat..

How are you feeling this morning T?
Damage report....could have been worse. Wet sanded the skeg and gave the prop a nice matte finish
