I just got off the phone with one of the links n I may have a deal on a new 17 with the 300 and it has more upgrades than the one I had for 58k. He s about 4k more. Pretty dam good imo. Is their any banks or credit unions that give better rates than the dealers? 5% is high imo? But I guess cause boating is a luxury they can rape ya. Any banks in the 3s?

.
Some sample new and used Boat loan rates for comparison purposes.

Yes very true. Some dealers just don't want to lose money. Even though they are. They will hang on to it till they die. I would let it go and move on. But it isn't my money.
Let us know where you end up. I don't think I would buy one without the bow and rear filler cushions though.

I would say most boat dealers have very deep pockets, otherwise they would have been out of business after the stock and insurance crash of 2008, when everything attached to bank financing crashed with it... Those that survived are not tight for cash.
I'm sure the dealer you are shopping owns that boat, and probably everything else on the floor.

Some dealers would rather have the boat collect dust, rather than move it and create another loyal customer.
Last I checked, they build Cobalts every day..
I don't get it either...

So you don't think they floor plan them? Interesting. I don't know myself but that's a good point of view on it and agree with you. Don't get it.
