Stock horsepower is 481, I've got a little more than that. I know 0-60 takes less than 4 seconds and it can hit the electronically limited 174 mph.

This is another toy. I been riding motorcycles since 1947. Had a professional career racing them in my younger days. Now I'm a little more laid back but still enjoy riding this.

Not a foot ball helmet. Back in the day, I was very active in motorcycle things. For instance, I was the one of the very first Husqvarna dealers in the USA. Motocross is a rough sport. The second most physically demanding sport in the world. Lots of guys in the day lost a few teeth crashing into the handebars after a bad jump. My helmet is a Bell helmet modified by me with that face guard. As far as I know, I was perhaps the first to ever do this and it did catch on fast. ( I still had most of my teeth when I finished my racing career at 40 years old)

Lee I thought Matt had set the bar in this tread until you came along with your motocross photo. Very impressive, that was back before the bikes did all the work. I wish I could hear all the stories!!
BTW is your favorite beer Dos Equis?

I like Corona actually. Or a nice Kahlua is good too

Back in the day we didn't race for money. Just trophies. Nowadays it's a money game and has actually ruined the sport in my opinion at least. In that day in order to win, you had to get yourself in good physical condition if you wanted to have any chance of winning. I can still remember those 6 mile runs I used to make after a days work. Then the stair stepping ritual where you had to get your heartbeat up to 200 beats per minute. I guess it was fun or I wouldn't have done it. Incidentally , I started in flattrack racing then to motocross and finally cross country desert racing.
