Thunder- Back in January I was in town and ended up driving out north for a dirt bike ride. Coming back I went right by your Marina and tried to pull in, as my plan was to find your boat and leave you a little surprise on board for you to ponder! But they wanted to charge me to get in and all I had was plastic at the time. Between being a bit pressed for time, I decided Ah well... But Inwish now I would have done it!
AJ that has to be one of the cutest kid pics I've ever seen!
Akor our lake is flooded too, but at least it's going down. It's like a freaking toilet bowl. All up or all down!

The ice went out at my brothers. But the dock won't go on till may 1st. So the wait continues. But if it gets really nice I'll launch by bfun they have perm docks there. They said gas might drop anther 50 cents in the next 2 weeks. So I'll wait to fill for a bit yet.

B are you still working? I'm thinking of getting the boat wet in a few weeks. Let's see what this weather does. It is supposed to be nice out next week.
Ok guys I just read this. I'm sure more will follow. I'm buying a fishing pole and a license.

Wow, everybody that is not considered in a "Critical position" at "essential services" have been ordered home. We're lucky that the Province got out ahead of this. The Chief Medical Officer declared the Public Health Emergency 2 weeks ago. Locked us down. So far only 21 cases with 0 deaths. I went to the storage building where my boat is stored. There's 7 boats between me and the door. Looks like it will be a late start this yr(July) as Marina's are not considered essential.
Crazy Times.
Stay Safe and wash your hands often!

Service and parts shops are considered essential. Government wants the ability to keep goods moving with couriers, and delivery services. So if you have the ability to do Motor Vehicle Inspections/repairs on cars, trucks, or trailers for moving goods you can remain open.
Our Chief Public Health Officer just told us to expect theses physical distancing and self isolation rules to be in place for 2 more months.

Minneapolis just closed all parks, public beaches, and playgrounds until the end of the summer. Makes me wonder if boat ramps will be affected.

Is there a lake in Minneapolis? That's not all Minnesota is it.
I would sell now. It's not worth it anymore.

For now, it's only the city of Minneapolis. State parks are open at this point, but who knows what the future holds. The lakes in Minneapolis are small and not boatworthy for our boats. We will have to see. The state is strongly recommending people don't go to cabin country.
I couldn't sell if I wanted too----I can't get to my boat to get it out of storage!!!!! LOL
The hope is everything bounces back quickly.
