Thanks Bliel, oil temp is a good idea. I’ll keep an eye out for something that matches my stock gauges.Bleil05 wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:03 pm Hi Akor
Impressive numbers on the boat
One lesson I learned from my local speed shop is to put an oil temp gage on these motors when you modify them
Once the oil gets over a certain temp it fails even though the motor temp is within specs
I would hate to see it scatter over oil failures
She runs like a dream! I matched my previous top speed with 73 gallons of fuel on board, and it pulls like a freight train from 30-60mph. Once it gets down below a quarter tank I’ll take it out during the week when it’s nice and calm and see what she’ll really do.cmattj wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:41 pm I just heard extended WOT runs..?
Up until you steam cleaned the bilge how’d she run?
What kind of oil temps was he seeing before and after the cooler install?Bleil05 wrote: Sun Jun 28, 2020 9:25 pm This is what we had to install on a 496 we put together for my sons Donzi
Ha, if the drive wasn’t so deep I’d totally run a cleaver!Big Block Power wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 1:51 pm Your goofy. B1!
25 mirage plus and go from there? What do you have laying around?
Could also try to find a Enertia.

Rev4 won't be the fastest. Enertia or mirage plus.akorcovelos wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:14 pmHa, if the drive wasn’t so deep I’d totally run a cleaver!Big Block Power wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 1:51 pm Your goofy. B1!

Rev, emerita, mirage, not sure where a good starting point is yet.
Is the B1 the same ratio as the b3? What are on your b3? Let's do a 30akorcovelos wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:43 pm I’ve read that the enertia is a fast prop. What size should I start with?
The lower is a 1.5, my B3 is a 2.0, which I believe is the same as a B1 1.5. It has 26p 3x3 now, but I’m not sure how that translates to a single prop.Big Block Power wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 4:04 pmIs the B1 the same ratio as the b3? What are on your b3? The Enertia is a great prop. 25?use bblades exchange program? Call Brett.
I don't know for sure but I'm thinking a 26 is a 26.akorcovelos wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 6:20 pmThe lower is a 1.5, my B3 is a 2.0, which I believe is the same as a B1 1.5.
