Okay, storytime.
Years ago I sold a huge bankruptcy auction. Several hundred acres and a 6,300 sq ft house that was about 90% complete. Long story but basically the owner was an outlaw and got caught. Ten years later the court ordered everything sold, and we got the deal.
The house was exquisite, but again, unfinished. It was a three level home with the bottom floor being underground on 3 sides. The first day I'm there I killed two sssnakes in the house. I'm not scared of snakes, I just don't want to be surprised by them... and these were Copperheads.
Every time we went there someone would either kill a snake or see one. It was surreal, seeing them in a house like this.
We sell the place for a huge amount and the buyer finishes it out and moves in. We had disclosed the snakes before the sale and he just laughed. The theater room was located on the bottom floor, and when I saw the buyer about a year ot two later I asked how he was liking his house?
He had installed an elevator on one end of the home, and when they cut into the walls they found snake nests on the bottom floor. Eww..
He said he had wondered about it because he could hear them in the walls when it was quiet in the theater room. And he always warns guests to check the floor before they get out of bed.
Screw that. I would have burnt that beotch to the ground.
