That’s a good call Jeeper. We did the same back in 2009. The job will get done right with the deeper pockets vs cutting corners. You may even get it warranted. 👍🏻

That's pretty good they would do that. Never heard of a insurance company doing that.

Looks like they are going to replace the lower drive, the only problem is the are on back order from Cobalt. They don’t have a ETA so my boating season is probably over.

Well that's good and bad news. Glad it's being covered, but sorry your season is over ☹️

The pictures are awesome. Beautiful place. I’d love to cruise that lake and explore ..... in a rental.

Finally got it back. They finally agreed to replace the lower drive, it was back order for two months.
It was quite a fight with Progressive insurance to get them to replace the lower drive, the housing was cracked and they wanted to weld it, they also wanted to rebuild the props instead of replacing them. I finally settled for rebuild props and a complete lower unit.
I think I will be shopping for a new insurance company.

If you want a quote Jeeper, message me...I'm an agent with American National and licensed in CO, NM and UT. I'm paying $529 annual on my R3 with 3 year Replacement Cost.

I would be interested in the Spring, I have my premium paid through the April and won’t be using it until then. Thanks.

I made a trip to Lake Powell last week. This time just to take a load of dyed diesel to the Halls Crossing Marina generation plant. Halls Crossing doesn’t have any power line run to it so it operates on three Caterpillar generators. Not as much fun as bringing the R5 but pays a lot better.

What a beautiful truck!
I like how they mount your spare tire!
The lake looks like the level is coming up?

I have lots of spare tires when I have this trailer. With the four lift axles down I can weigh 112,000 pounds. On the double trailers I can gross 122,000 pounds. I have different trailer configurations for the different states traveled in and the amount of fuel ordered by my customers.

Simply amazing. I remember riding with my dad and his 350hp fire breathing Cummins many years ago, no power steering no air ride, just 10 gears.

With 605hp do you even down shift for hills?
