My boat doesn't go in until mid June. I'm having the dealer drop it in our Marina at the lake and just tie it up to a dock and then leave the key in it. I'll take it from there. As to social distancing on a boat, I think it will just be me and the kids this summer unless things change. My wife doesn't boat and I don't really want to get within 12' of anyone not living in our household.

Just bought my Indiana state parks lake pass. That's a whopping $29 bet on the lakes being open for the full season. Putting the positive energy out into the ethos.

I talked to my dealer on Friday who is storing my boat. They are now officially closed. The boats werenβt scheduled to come out of storage until sometime in April. In talking to them, they arenβt sure when people will be able to pick up boats. I saw the Govt. is now recommending the shutdown till the end of April. They agreed this is unprecedented and they really donβt know what to expect or do other than keep lines of communication open. Heck it may not matter if the lakes are closed if you canβt get your boat out of storage

public launches are closed here, but the lakes and river are open, though the river just went to no wake from heavy storms....So I probably won't matter here as we'll be flooding AGAIN.
