But to make it look really good you need to remove some of the windshields. That I'm not willing to do. Also the tint needs to get under the glass molding which isn't striaght and you can get light showing through it. So it has to get tucked under the molding. My last 220 looked like crap so I didn't do it to this one. Plus someone is always hanging onto the windshield frame and glass and it's going to get finger prints on it and get scratched then look like crap. So I'm leaving it alone.
You dork... I stand when underway too, so if I'm on my booster seat I can see over the top. But when we're anchored out at night watching the shooting stars and listening to the tunes, I am sitting, and my head is on a swivel looking for other boats coming around.

A few years ago a close friend was doing exactly the same thing at about 11 PM when a bass boat came down the bank at WOT. My buddy was watching them pretty close, and then right there at the last minute, it turned and came right at him. No time to move, and he and his wife only came away with minor injuries, but he was at least able to dive out of the way.

The bass boat Captian had been over served and didn't see my buddy's anchor or bow lights. It's another reason I carry a very powerful LED flashlight, to ward off anyone getting too close.

There isn't a speed limit on our lake at night. Probably because there are too many bass fishermen to make that happen.

He was sitting in at the helm and his wife was on the back bench. Granted, this is an 88 ski boat with very little freeboard, and in the same circumstances, had it been my boat, there would have been a helluva crash.

Sooo, I'm ALways watching, and no tint for me!

Wow, amazing they walk away from that! 25mph speed limit at night here. Why would you ever need to go faster at night on inland lakes?

I know, right? But even if we had a speed limit the bass boats would ignore it, just like they ignore the "No Wake" zones. Pretty frustrating.

That’s the reason years ago we stopped boating at night. We were underway at night, idling along with all lights on, when a pontoon boat with no lights on just about ran over us. I don’t think he ever saw us. He was wide open. We were very lucky. There’s no shortage of idiots out there unfortunately.

Let me translate for those unfamiliar with bb talk.
During the day = at night
One one of them = knew one of them.

Drunk boater at night took the lives of these 2 sisters.

This is the reason I installed underwater lights and interior LEDS. I boat a lot at night in the summer and I am definitely afraid of being hit by someone not paying attention. An anchor light and nav light just aren't enough insurance for me.

While I'm waiting, New engine cover and rear seat upholstery.......Renee's Upholstery, Carson City, NV. did a good job, she's the one that could get it done on time. The recommended shops were 2 months out. Yelp has been good to me..........
