Just an FYI for anyone ordering captains call for a 282. It will be right at a month before I will actually have the parts in hand after ordering. They only make them when ordered and do not have any kits in stock.

The complete rehab of the condo we bought is finished and ready to go. We will spend the rest of the winter furnishing and decorating. That should help get us through the dreary winter ahead!

Here are a few more pics. Cannot wait for spring.

Premier 54 is who I used for Coast Guard certification of my boat. They are good people there!

That pic was when the dealer dropped the boat off. It was their yard trailer and they had a duallie flat bed 1 ton diesel.

I am thinking about adding a stripe to the boat. As you can tell from my username, I am all about the red, white, and blue...I am a proud American and not afraid to say so! I am thinking about adding a 1" red stripe above a 2" body color (white) gap, above the factory 3" royal blue stripe. Similar to the decal below with a larger red and white stripe. I am also looking at boat names and am considering WHITE NOISE (since it will have captains call).

White noise definition: White noise is commonly used in the production of electronic music, usually either directly or as an input for a filter to create other types of noise signal. It is used extensively in audio synthesis, typically to recreate percussive instruments such as cymbals or snare drums which have high noise content in their frequency domain. I think a 496 HO with captains call could fit this description!

Hey Patriot.

Loce the name! Regardless of anyone knowing what the meaning is it will be good.

Measure out the area as on my 282 it got tight for the legal Documented size and port to be displayed. The pesky handle gets it crowded..

I picked our name prior to the USCG documentation.

On the stripe.. sorry but she’s beautiful as she sits. Buy the Cobalt Flag kit , and enjoy the elegance of the classic boot stripe. Looking good and looking forward to your CC video!
