Southernboatman wrote: Mon Jul 16, 2018 7:39 am Welcome from South AL, LA as we call it. jeggleston! Very nice! Love the Ice Blue! Sort of a “different shade of blue” as Joe Bonamassa might say. Look forward to more pics and stories. Very good resource here. We’ll put it in a lighter blue category. There’s a couple more Ice owners on here. It’s a super classy color! What all options?
Typical options... nothing fancy.
* Interior RGB lighting... no underwater lighting.
* Swim platform lighting added that changes color with interior.
* Windlass
* docking lights
* Stainless captain footboard
- Filler cushions in the bow
* filler cushion at the transom
* Umbrella... I thought this would be cheesy. But my wife wanted it and it is a nice feature to use in the ski pylon insert. Just wouldn't pay full price for what factory wanted to sell for. It has worked nice for our family and friends that don't want to get in the water but want to sit at the back and enjoy conversation in a cove on a hot sunny day.
* I ordered standard stereo because we have a great stereo company at Table Rock Lake that does great work. I had them put some good stuff in at about half the price the factory wanted to sell it for. I added sound adjuster controls, amps, arch speakers, tweeters, subwoofer. I didn't do transom speakers... choose arch instead so its not blasting sound in your ear when a bunch of people are hanging out at the swim platform. AND it saved a good place to put the boat name.
*Battery charger...
* Trim tabs
* Teak-ish Dinette Table
* Wake board racks
* Flag... gotta have that, right?
* went with the Volvo engine - 380. I'm interested to hear some feedback on the "easy to use self-winterizing" function that came on the Volvo starting 2018. I'm going to need to read more about it and hear some feedback before I trust completely that you can drain the water from the engine with a push of a button. It's made for warmer than normal weather in the winter if you choose to take a January boat ride after you already winterized.

I'm sure I missed something, but that is the bulk of options we went with. So far no complaints or regrets.

Sounds good. I looked through your posts to find a pic... your boat reflects the reasoning behind us going with cobalt. Pure classic lines that never go out of style. Nice ride. Look forward to seeing it up close sometime.

Who did your stereo? I’m planning a stereo upgrade over the winter.

Nice list! And I’m sure the stereo crew there was a good choice too. Post plenty of pics or some of these folks might show up at your door. Rgb pics when you get the chance.

Same here. That baby blue is awesome looking. You don't see many that color. I never thought I'd own a cobalt but it's weird how this one has grown on us. Every time we use it and enjoy it we appreciate it more and the way it's constructed.
