While I'm waiting for the rest of my supplies, checked to make sure that my Singer machine with a walking foot can handle 4 layers of vinyl. Did great on a few test runs. Will post some updates once I get the rest of the materials.

Good luck! My Wife is pretty good with a sewing machine and she did some of the interior on our old boat. Turned out pretty good, but dang that was a lot of work.

Hey Janis, gave the switch away a while back. Agreed, the Cobalts are built well!

Any pics of your Cobalt. We’d love to see them. Feel free to start an intro post with pics only if you have the time.

Some tuneup parts arrived today. New OEM Mercruiser/Quicksilver distributor cap, rotor, ignition wires, and fuel filter.

Got the new wires, cap, and rotor replaced. The old wires were not bad, but the old cap and rotor were in pretty bad shape. Just did a quick test start with muffs on the outdrive and it starts up much faster too.

I also prefer to keep everything ignition relates OEM. So it's nice to have Mercruiser parts instead of the Delco parts that were on there.

I haven't listed it for sale, but I'm always open to offers. The 272 I was looking at wasn't worth what they were asking. So still on the search for a 262 or 272.

Nice bts!

Btw, I copied the last part of your youTube link( 8pB-qyDoH_g ) and pasted it between the YouTube brackets so the video shows up on the site.
