Katie and I said the same, Hey Liquid buy the next round of lemonade! Seems like it will work just fine.

I tried to get Katie to call my wife by her name and she said tell Mrs BBP to take care. So I guess she did call her by her name. I'll have my name on me all night just for all of you. Liquid please pass the salt

Well it sounds like most folks have a ride via their own vehicle or car pool. Not sure if we need the big 12-15 pax van.
Maybe I'll rent a 7 pax mini van for the four of us driving from MCI for $120 plus gas. Any stragglers can hop in for the ride to the factory.

Any inputs on this plan?

AsLan, We can go either way on the transportation to the plant. I'll have a car from MCI. I arrive early Thursday and have a couple of business meetings setup. So brother Paul and I plan to see everyone at dinner or at the hotel. Thursday happy hour anyone near or at the hotel before dinner? First round of lemonade is on me.

Could we get a text message group set up to communicate easier on the trip? Who has the headcount and contact information?

I don't know if Yt has everyone's numbers. I have most but not all either. If you want to pm me your number that's fine too. If you don't have my number that is. Then I'll get a group chat going on my flip phone. Or wait to see what Yt has. Im meeting Matt at the airport around 5:30 so we won't get to the hotel till after 6. I would be ok for a meet up at the hotel bar before heading over for dinner.

A7 I think this is where a larger van would work going to dinner and the tour. I don't have a problem throwing in 10 bucks to ride with the group.

Yt can you put a list together of members and friends so we all can see?

So Chris brought up a good point in that we should have a group text going on in real time. I discovered at Thanksgiving though different phones and phone providers limit the number of people in a group. So it would be better to use a group texting app.

I was going to suggest one called Slack unless someone has one they would recommend? If we're all in one group it would sure make it easier to communicate.

I'm working today so I can't check in much. Whatever ya'll decide to do I'm in.

Slack would be awesome, we use it at work as well, it works great. Would require everyone to download an app, but it's free.

WhatsApp is also a very popular texting app that handles group texts very well.

Or we can use the group chat BBP has started on his flip phone, its whatever.

Happy hour could be good - Gdane most likely knows better than I do, but I think there are a couple bars very close to CharBar that could work well.

OK guys I have used my IT skills to build cobalt chat a slack channel. For those of you not in the know slack is a way for groups to chat - kinda like the chat feature on the forum - but it has a phone app so you will get an alert on your phone when a new message is posted to the channel.

Sign up /w your real name - but once in the channel you can update your preferences to display messages from you as your cobalt chat name if you would like.

The app is free and can be found in your phone's app store. BBP I dont know how you get there on your flip phone.
