Yea the light gray with black stripes are terrible. I was ready to do the cockpit till I had to constantly clean it. Just feet that get wet then they step on it leaves dirty foot prints all over.
I now wish I went with the teak color. Wife liked the gray and for the 1 and only time I asked her for a opinion on the boat this is what I got.

I have the grey with black teak lines. I went with this because it would match the sea grass. Anytime someone steps barefoot off the concrete tiled dock to the swim platform it leaves a foot print. Also my mooring cover doesn’t cover my swim platform. So I’m constantly scrubbing it

Thanks all. Interesting feedback. Going with teak color and black lines so hopefully cleaning won't be as bad. We deal with mostly sand here so we will see how it holds up. Attaching rendering for the selected pattern. "COBALT" on anchor locker will run bow to stern, opposite of picture.

That's awesome. They were offering a discount if you did the whole boat.

Marcus it looks great! Where does three and four go? I haven't been on a 282 so I can't envision that interior?..

Probably. I though so too, but it looks too long and narrow. It's not much wider than 2 and 14.

Yes. 282 has a large Head. Big head? Enormous. Nevermind I could get banned. Lol

I will post pics when finished. Yes 3 & 4 are in the head compartment. There is a shelf / ledge there and then the floor obviously. BBP - "discount" on boat work?? Asking that might get you banned!

What are you guys stepping in that causes it to get so dirty?

We mainly anchor in the lake, there's no beaches or mud that feet ever touch, so the only dirt we get is from the drystack (cover doesn't extend over the swim platform).

Lots of the kids and others walk around with bare feet then there feet get wet and the marine mat acts like a towel and the dirt transfers to the marine mat making it dirty.

Thanks everyone, I'm considering Grey vs Teak color to replace my peeling swim platform (7 years old). It's helpful to understand what is causing the dirtiness.

My brother has solid gray that comes from Cobalt. He got a lot of foot prints from the dock finally figured out it was pollen from the dock. The problem really died down in summer with less pollen in the air.

Hi All, Attached are some before and after pics of the boat with full Aquamarine floor for any that might be considering this type of flooring. I think I like it much better than the bare floor or the carpet. Now I just need to finish the actual teak in the transom walkway which I admit is now embarrassingly bad!

That looks very nice. I like mine also better than carpet. I just wished the one time I didn't ask or listen to my wife on the color choice.
