I love you guys, but I can't deal with the cold. Older I get the harder (dealing with the cold) it gets. Time for optimism, it is starting to warm up here in Texas. Mornings are still chilly, in the lower 40s, but we're starting to see some warm says in the mid to upper 70s. It won't be long now!!!!

I am freaking THRILLED that we have great people working for us, and my son can handle our family business, which now lets us get away.
Off to Cancun early tomorrow with a bunch of couples who are always over the top fun...
Mexico memories are bittersweet because I know I’m going to drink too much tequila and probably get sick, but it will be GREAT until it isn’t.

73 Mph gusts from this last storm. I can’t imagine what a hurricane must be like.

Agree that the winter is getting longer as I get older. We get out of it but not often enough this year with our record snow and cold. In two weeks are headed back to Naples for 5 days, Hawaii for 8 days the last week of March, and San Diego the first weekend of April. I’m hoping the snow will be mostly gone when we get back from San Diego. Like all of us, I’m itching to get the boat back in the water! This will be our first year where we get to enjoy a full season of boating so I’m praying that we have a “normal” spring.

In the meantime, I find myself checking the Naples Pier live webcam each morning, lol.

You guys should try Ft. Myers beach. It’s busy and a PITA with the construction, but it’s a beautiful beach with restaurants.

We were there right when construction was kicking off, man what cluster. We had a condo on the south end of the island and only went into town once because it took so long to get there. It was faster to head south through Lovers Key to the shopping district there than head to the strip. We did have to venture in to get a Piña colada at Matanza's though, best I've ever had!

Going to hit the river next week. Only going to be 75 on Wednesday though.
