If you have a slip, the snap covers make little sense. The mooring cover covers more and is a nice seal that covers down to the bumpers.
The snap covers are better for someone like me who trailers back and forth.

Actually I use both. Snap covers for trailering.
Snap covers overnight on the lift to keep the lake critters and bugs out.
Mooring cover when I leave for the weekend.

I think that is exactly what I'll do as well. Reason I got both. I plan on using snap overnights when we spend the night at the lake house, and when I leave, I'll use the mooring cover. I was really impressed with how well the boat trailered with the mooring cover, and the additional coverage it provides. I can see how the mooring cover is much better for keeping spider poo off the rails, as well as it covers rear swim platform so that will keep my swim platform mat looking new. I hope I'm able to reach the entire rear platform to properly secure the mooring cover as my covered slip is only 24' long. Do you install the mooring cover with the support poles every time? Those just look like a PITA with the straps draping everywhere.

Hahaha, At the Toronto boat show in 17’, I asked the Northeast factory rep for a freebie 430 engine upgrade before I ordered, and he said a free flag was the only thing the factory would toss in at the boat show.
Well thanks anyway🤣

LOL, yeah, you topped me on that one. Did you ever determine if you do indeed have the 430? I know you were doing alot of research and investigation trying to determine..What conclusive evidence were you able to drum up?

Haha, the divided answers are almost as funny as the whole deal itself. The intrigue has been entertaining 🤣. It's like calling Cobalt themselves..every question has alternative facts depending on who you talk to.
From the engine plate info and pics I sent them, two different VP USA reps says it's a 430 and congrats, and they even said they hoped I had a twin engine boat where I would have really scored, and my dealer says it's a 380. At the very least, I got an upgraded decal🤣
Doesn't really matter. I turn the key, the engine starts and the boat flies. But it is a Cobalt, not a Fastec.

50-52-54 Mph..In reality, if we all were to be pragmatic, the power difference in one engine doesn't really make much difference at all. It's splitting hairs. It takes two to really make a boat run.

Yes T in 10 years i bet you sell it advertised as a 430 which it says on the info plates.
Hence a larger sale price it will bring.

Cycle, love the boat & pics! My appointment at Stokleys is next Wednesday so missed seeing yours. Are you able to say what dealership you work at in Louisville? May stop in to say hello sometime. Congrats on your R5
