When towing 14k lbs - how far will it go? I didn’t see any specs on that yet.

I haven't seen any specs but I'm sure it will cut the range by at least 50%, but could be as much as 70%.

This Delortek is the bomb. Think about how much he can save during manufacturing. This thing will be so easy to build. Saving a ton of money. I like it.

It wasn't a fair comparison right off the bat. A 2wd hitched to an an AWD?

Then the Tesla moves first, and at the point of tension snatches the Ford. No way to get traction, even if it could.

And it seems there would be more weight to ground going uphill than downhill, with gravity in play. Why didn't they do it on flat ground?

So I suppose, if Ford performs the matchup, they'll put everything into their favor and magically win. I call BS on both...

I propose a 2000 mile race. The Ford should win by hours.

Man, Ford will get smoked if it's equal weight towing torque from a standstill. Electric motors are torque monsters, and have full torque at 0 rpm. A Ford AWD with their biggest engine (do they have a diesel?) and a truckbed full of weight would have been more interesting, but factors like who has the best tires may still be a tiebreaker if the Ford also has enough torque to break its tires free at a standstill.

and what does a tow strap drag off really show? I think it would be more fair to see which could pull more trailer weight.

On the plus side, it’s only a matter of time we see one in the water on one of those boat ramp fail videos.

I reserved a Cybertruck. For $100 refundable, why the hell not?

It'll hold multiple sets of race tires, do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, and is eligible for a CA HOV sticker. SOLD.

I'm thinking I'm going to do the same thing with a Rivian. They aren't supposed to be released until 2021 but I think they'll actually come out in the fall. We'll see. Currently I have a 2012 2500 Chevy but it's about to go down the road motors. It's an auction orphan like all my vehicles, but it js dual fuel CNG/gasoline, so I've kept it longer than usual. CNG stations are very plentiful in my area, but not so much anyplace else.

In the meantime. I bought this to resell, but I really like it.

It will go up plenty, but I've been driving it and may just keep it awhile. It's a freakin sickness, kinda like boats. I already have one of these for Overlanding!

I have some friends at Rivian, so I am really rooting for them. The fact that Ford just announced that the first Lincoln BEV will based on a Rivian platform is a good sign.

Fingers crossed that it doesn't suck.
