I already have #5 slip reserved at the restaurant and we'll be staying at Golden Cabins or something llke. Its just a skip down to the dock, and we dont plan on spending much time in the room at all.
Be careful looking at other boats. It's a sickness...
When I was racing dirtbikes I'd get one, have it tricked out and dialed in and see another one I'd have to have. The same thing kinda happened with me on this last boat deal. I had my 240 all done up the way I wanted and A7 comes along and screwed everything up!. But at least my 262 is paid for, and my wife informed me we're going to keep this one a while.

oh I know. I'm only 35 and have already owned about 15 cars in my day and am already on my 4th boat
I actually spent way more than I had planned to on the 262. Like I said we just purchased our condo back in October so I was just going to get something in the 22ft range. Well then I ended up getting a 32ft slip at the harbor so filled it up the best I could with the 262
. I should hopefully have it paid for next year as I had to take a small loan out on it.

Yep that is it! it is sitting there on the parking lot when you drive towards our dock. I had to stop and take a look.
And I already plan to harass you to sell me that WSS of yours here once the new boat smell wears off

Dont yell at us BBP! We're just trying to keep sane until warmer weather rolls around. Its hard to do! Thanks to tgrace for taking some pics when he was down last weekend. She's in my slip and hoisted up. May need to entertain a upgrade on boat lift at some point but for now I'm done spending money. I wont be down until the weekend of 4/20

shoot I forgot Tgrace, lets talk turkey on a futures contract for my boat. We'll base it off current market values now less historical deprecation. Historical depreciation rates meaning within the last year
I will of course need some earnest money to solidify your commitment. What say ye to a down payment of....oh....whatever it costs me to get into a new lift

hahahaha I've already bought 1 lift this year. Why not put a down payment on a second lol. Only thing I can say is they have the drive all the way down in that picture the prop is almost touching the water. I'm sure in the winter if you trim all the way up to trailer mode it will be just fine. But then again I am sure you are like me who would be to lazy to do that so would rather have a more powerful lift
If I put a down payment on it now do I get to do a sea trial? or better yet just go take it out when I feel like it? I don't know how these 10 year pre-purchase commitments work

can see the usual clarity of Table Rock Lake water, far from how it looks right now (at least on the Shell Knob end)

I've been told to keep your drive unit down rather up to keep stress off the something or other?? A shop guy told me that a couple years ago. Perhaps someone here knows more about this but I'm pretty sure thats why they have it all the way down. I may just need a bigger lift. I knew going into this it might be pushing it. it'll last through the summer and we'll see.
So the pre-purchase commitment works like this:
1. You pay me money
2. I deposit your money
3. I get the agreed upon years of enjoyment
4. During the agreed upon time of my boat usage enjoyment you have no rights, privileges, or other access to use the boat. You are entitled to 2 annual wash and wax detail opportunities for said boat in the interest of maintaining that Cobalt shine upon transference to you
5. You pay me more money when the time is up
6. I buy a 30+ footer
Sound like a deal?

Nah, just add some risers. You're lift is floating good, it's just a little short. Mine was lower than yours by about 4". Added 6" risers and now I have a couple of inches clearance. Any local lift guy can add them. Cost me $208. The risers are added where the bunk supports meet the floats. Gives you more room between the floats and the bunks. Just be sure to compensate for the extra height by having them lower the lift on the slip by the same amount so you can launch without a problem.
PS. Love that color scheme.

And I agree with Drillers assessment. You just need to put risers on. Your floats are setting fine in the water.

I agree what yt just said. That beast is sharp. Yes you should leave the drive down. I would think if it's between weekends No big deal. Just don't trim it all the way up. It's hard on the bellows.
Oh I wasn't yelling. I just loce that place and jealous I'm not on it.

This sounds pretty one sided to me
. How do I know you aren’t going to be rolling around in Cheetos and bumping every dock you see? Do I get to make monthly inspections on my investment?
And hell who knows maybe i’ll Be ready for an r30 by then. But I’ve always told myself I never want to deal with a 2 engine boat. Just seems like double the headaches to me.
And this thread as totally derailed
