Fellow KS guy and just to the West of you, Goddard. First boat was a 96 Crownline 182, sold to get a new 07 Cobalt 220 and attended our first regatta the same year. In 2018 sold it with only 160 ish hours on it to get a 04 Cobalt 262 in 2019 and haven't looked back. We love the 262 Platform, the Bimini can be a pain and is better with 2 people, the taller the better. We were lucky enough to score a slip at Campbell Point marina last year and used it more last year than the 2 previous years even with it being 5 hours away.
Congrats on your 262, its cool that you got a video while on the water, it's hard to get pics while on the water. You'll love the size and power.
Beautiful 262. We are in Pittsburg KS and frequent TRL quite often with our 2006 272. Love your colorway

Wow. Looks like this is the thread I need to be on. All of these KS Cobalt owners, LOL.
A bunch of great looking "2 series" boat in this thread for sure. I'm located in Topeka, and frequent Lake Perry, and Melvern if any of you are ever around those 2. I know... not as pretty as TRL, Grand, or Beaver, but I can be to these 2 lakes in 15-60 minutes, so it's a win win for us.

Hi NautiWeasel, yep lots of KS folks in here! I've never been to Perry or Melvern but have heard great things. Will definitely reach out if I'm ever up that way! It's a bummer that the weather looks rainy next weekend. Was really looking forward to a lake weekend.

Great to see Kansans with 2 series! Love that 262!!! I’m enjoying my 276 at Stockton Lake. There’s a nice group of Cobalters here!

We frequent Stockton Lake as well. Hope to see you out there soon, we usually stay at Orleans Trail and frequent the quarry and Mutton Creek area.

Yes there is. Both time's I've been there (in the Quarry) I've been invited to tie up with the other Cobalt boats already there. Great bunch of people.
