Well, it looks like I will be picking it up on Friday pending a sea trial. It has been a long road but a deal is made (36,500+ tax/registration) and I have a buyer for my current boat (much better than the trade in offer). Overall I think this is a good buy and cannot wait to pick it up. I appreciate all the input everyone has given me. I will post some pictures this weekend.

I was able to drive it for around 45 minutes before signing paperwork. My first impression after my little Reinell 200 was that every speed felt slow compared to what I was used too. I did use GPS to verify speed, and the speedo seemed accurate. The lake was quite choppy, about 2' windblown chop through part of it. I would have been having the crap beat out of me at 15 mph, but I was doing about 30 with my daughters in the bow and was reasonably comfortable. The handling was leaps and bounds better as well. I only had it up to 40-45 mph, but it was effortless and only turning 3600-3700 rpm I think, so it had a lot left. The hole shot was maybe not as snappy as I was hoping, but my perception of speed was way off so it may have been better than I thought. I will know more next weekend.
Overall I am really excited and impressed with this boat after my Reinell. I'm ready to get it out next weekend for a full day on the water and really get a feel for it.

Does anyone know how to put the cobalt logo back on the side? I can see where it use to be but apparently the previous owner took it off.

Do you still have the old logo or do you need to buy a new one?
Here is how one boat compounding expert reinstalls boat logos.
And how to take the logo off.

Ok, yesterday I got to take it out for a full day on the water. I am thrilled with it in just about every aspect. I put 6 hours on her wakeboarding, tubing, and cruising. That big block didn't disappoint. Hole shot was strong. With 4 adults and 5 kids on board my wife managed to pull me right up and over my board... And I'm a big guy (about 300lbs). She got smoother on the throttle and it was great.
I was able to hit 60 on the speedo (56-57 gps) pretty quickly turning 4500 RPM. I think it could go faster but I didn't trim up very much, about 1/4 on the gauge. Not really sure where ideal setting is yet at those speeds. I only went for speed once as the lake I was on has a 45 mph speed limit and was fairly busy most of the day.
One thing I noticed was the depth gauge didn't seem to work right. It read 1.9 to 3 feet the whole day. The lake is a very muddy and fairly shallow, but I know the majority of it is 12-15 feet. I'm hoping it was just the muddy waters messing with it. I'll be at Havasu at the end of the week for 4 days and will look closer then. Maybe there is a way to calibrate it.
All in all, I am very happy and impressed with this boat. Everything is very solid and the ride is amazing, even with the surf boats out making their massive wakes.

Great to hear Kevin….
At one time our depth finder did the same thing. We just needed to refill the puck transducer in the engine compartment with antifreeze..Might be your issue. Unscrew it and check.
Great pics too.

Oh, that's interesting. I had no idea there was antifreeze there. I'll take a look.

OK, I feel pretty dumb. I assumed the "F" unit was feet.... I forgot about fathoms. Depth finder works fine.
