Didn’t let the morning rain scare us off yesterday. Ended up being a nice day out at Lake Red Rock.

I wish we didn’t listen to the weather guy yesterday morning! We canceled our day on the boat because it rained until 10 or 11 in the morning and they said it was supposed to start raining again around 4. It didn’t, it was an absolutely beautiful day!

Rented a toon from Wahweap. In hindsight maybe should of rented from Antelope to have a chance to have made it farther east. Oh well. Crazy how some GPS maps havent been able to keep up with the lakes changing landscape. To go east from Wahweap now you have to wind down past Antelope marina.

Time to spend some money on new tires all around. Old ones are original to the trailer, almost 15 years old and completely dry rotted. I spun all the hubs and they sound good, but I’m going to have the bearings replaced as well for peace of mind.

Had a good day at lake rathbun. Much better than the day we had a month ago with the whole lake in white caps. One minor problem we had was the winch hook broke the stitching. Luckily we were already out of the water and I had a heavy duty yellow ratchet strap to tie her down. Glad it broke in the parking lot and not going down the highway.

Ya that would be a good idea, even my car trailer felt good but when I took them apart they were rusty. P.S. Good looking boat. I was hoping to go down to Red Rock this summer but the gas prices are hindering that a bit

No boating yesterday for us, but we did go to the New Hampshire Boat Museum which was very cool.

My saltwater buddy saw someone having a very bad day yesterday.

Made it to Table Rock for a Chat Core regatta

Looks like it is going to be a lot of fun.

What is the generator for?

Soaking up as much lake time as possible this Summer. Our second Cobalt, and it had to be another 272. Stockton Lake, MO. Will be headed to Table Rock Lake at the end of July.
