Such listing at rest is typically caused by one of two problems: 1) Bad distribution of equipment (e.g., anchor, et al.) But it sounds like you already checked that. 2) Water trapped in a stringer bay. At about 8#s/gallon, it gets heavy quickly.
An oddball possibility: Your starboard side dock tie is too tight. Release it and see if she balances to normal.
(P.S. Treat BB like your mother-in-law: Nod your head politely. Then ignore him.

+1 on the water in a stringer bay or possibly delamination with the construction materials retaining water. You might need the magic boat yard/surveyor hammer. Hoping it's not.

Yeah fearful this is the case. Just bought this boat- didn’t do a sea trial bc the market up here has been crazy but did run it with muffs etc and see no evidence anywhere of water retention / damage and no hull damage but there could certainly have been a small leak over time.

Here’s a question ....
Is anyone else aware of a cobalt this age having water in the hull/stringers/delam issues? If so is it worth fixing.

My 190 I had briefly had the drains plugged going to the bilge from the ski locker. Are yours free? I filled the ski locker to the brim cleaning the boat then got 200 lbs of sand out of it. Then it started to drain.

She needs to be diagnosed by an expert. There are too many: It
could be this . . . And the cause
could be that . . .
Until you get a clear diagnosis, there's no way to know whether it's worth fixing.

It's the Goat of all Cobalts. Yes it's worth fixing.
Come on Kate. Let's still some holes in the bottom to see if water comes out. If not your good. See another great suggestion from bbp. Ok ignore that one and get a professional diagnosis. I'm avail after 5.thanks bbp!

Thanks all. Waiting on availability at the marina to have it looked at. For now trying to figure out why bilge/nav lights etc won’t turn on. Welcome back to boat ownership!!

Krob…. Fuses don’t appear to be blown. Last owner put a new ignition in. Maybe something to do with that wiring. On the waitlist at the marina.

Update: just trailered her to the local Cobalt dealer/Marina. Everyone else was perplexed by it, hopefully these guys can figure it out. They seemed pretty confident they could at least let us know what’s happening. Also got the chance to talk to the owner for about 25 minutes who says he’s been selling Cobalts for decades. Extolled the virtues of the 190

FWIW, I looked at my R3 in the water this weekend. Totally flat water in the evening at dock. I have about a 1" list to starboard. On the right side the hardware for my swim step touches the water but the left side it's about 1" out of the water. Not noticable from the topside or front. I wouldn't have even thought of it without this thread.
