So to add to this thread, I just installed the factory Lenco trim tabs on my 2013 A25. I have yet to put the boat in the water to actually try them (soon, hopefully), but here are some notes from the process:

• Ordering from Hodges Marine could not have been easier. I think it took about 4 weeks to get the parts. I used the parts list in this thread.

• My boat was NOT pre-wired for the tabs so it's a good thing I ordered 2 of the Lenco 20' wiring harnesses just to be safe.

• The local shop I use for maintenance charged me 4 hours of labor for the install. I gave them photos of the tab and control placement from this thread to avoid them guessing.

Otherwise it was pretty straightforward.

Looking forward to getting the boat on the water!

OK, finally got the boat out so I could try the new trim tabs.

Yeah, the A25 should have come this way from the factory.

Definitely improves the ride quality by letting you get the bow down into the chop when you need to. It's nice hopping up on plane a bit faster, although there's noticeable drag when the tabs are deployed. Being able to trim the boat side-to-side when people move around is great.

The A25 has a bit of a butt, so the tabs are a big win, IMHO.

The Lenco system is a nice setup. I like the auto-retract on power off and they respond to changes very quickly. The soft-touch control panel just feels like a quality piece of kit, too.

Bottom line: worth the money for me.
