Luckily, I was able to unlatch the step by pushing my finger into the hole to raise the step. Not sure what I would have done if I could not have raised it. Now I also need to replace it. On that note, does anybody have a good Cobalt dealer they use? I've gone through Marine Connection in Florida and Strongs Marine in NY and both have horrible service. I have a few parts I'm trying to buy like this swim platform pin, a new tachometer, and a windlass anchor motor and I can't even get a return call from their service department. When I finally get a hold of somebody at either of these locations, they tell me they will call me right back with pricing and I never hear from them again. I get that they are all extremely busy now with everybody boating but its been 3 weeks since the Strongs Marine guy said he would call me back and I can't even get him on the phone. If anybody has any good dealers that they enjoy working with will be appreciated.
