The tow across the mountains was great! Part of the reason we chose this boat is that it is a package that is reasonable to road trip with. We have a Yukon xl with the 6.2L. I maintained 50-65 up the passes without beating on the truck. It was 107 deg when we were on the roads from I 70 south to Bullfrog, truck warmed up only 10 deg from normal.
Did you guys stay at the hotel in Bullfrog or camp? We have only camped at Stanton Creek there, but the wife says she is done sleeping in a tent.

We stayed in the family units, they are 3 bedroom trailers close to the hotel. A/C worked great, you can cook your own food and a fridge to keep your beer and mixers cold. They are a little beat, makes a Holiday Inn Express seeM like The Ritz. A lot better than camping on 100 degree weather.

That color looks awesome on your boat. I am not saying this because I own a CS series boat, but it is one of the freshest looking boats on the water. Everyone compliments mine. I think the CS is a big hit. 350 HP, LOVE IT! Baller status! I know that thing must fly!

So is that the name of your boat? The Kids Made Me Do It?

This is where BB should have posted a picture showing his boat name too, but he has trouble with his flip phone.

We have not officially named the boat yet. But "The Kids Made Me Do It" would be classic! This was our first season with the boat, it has been a great summer. The kids took to it with a lot of confidence, still using just a tube behind the boat. When I was their age we had a 15ft tri-hull with 55hp outboard. I was scared the entire time we were on that boat. We eventually had a 20ft deep vee that we took to Table Rock once a year and the Missouri a few times a year, otherwise we went to local smaller lakes on weekday evenings and weekends. I grew up in Lincoln, Ne. I am very happy I could introduce my family to boating with our CS23!

Ok, he’s talking about himself on the third person now, should we be worried?

I just looked through my pics and don't have a shot of it but we definitely poked around this boat a bit pre-engine. CMatt and I for sure. Anyone got a pic?

Welcome. I dig this model and the color scheme.
