Not to thread jack here but I just bought a new (0 hours) left over 2017 CS1. Sticker showed boat had a mooring cover as a $1,800 option (or something like that). I have a canvas snap cover on order and my dock is covered so with no rain for the first couple weeks I didn't think much about the mooring cover that they stowed on the boat in an opened box.
Monday when I went to dig it out I saw that the box is a TaylorMade generic fit cover. It is missing ALL of the straps and is WAY to big to fit on the boat in any reasonable way. Dealer is still running down some other issues and when i mentioned it seems willing to get everything correct here.
But question is: should the 'factory' mooring cover be something a little more Cobalt specific and should I care. On my third day of a boat with 10 hours on the engine sitting in the rain (under a roof but still getting soaked) I am starting to be a little annoyed. Appreciate the thoughts so I can make the right request!

Yes Outer Armor makes them for Cobalt. Get the correct one. Even that Taylor made one should have a tag on it somewhere saying what it fits.
