Very cool and congrats. We want boat specs and all. Hopefully a r3 surf with a 380 or 430. One can only hope. Please don't say 240.

I’m pretty sure the smallest fwd drive they make us the 300hp. On the r5/7 smallest they offer is the 350

You just watch what they offer in 2020 Tg!! There is a demand for it.

I only put the 300 in my R3, max people and full of ballast and have not had a power issue whatsoever.

I have a 350 in my R3 and I find it more than adequate and the 300 has the exact same power to 4,600 RPM. I can see why dealers say the base engine is fine in this boat. I got the 350 as a safety margin. What I’ve discovered so far is 52 mph wide open with 6 people in the boat and a full tank of gas, light chop. But, getting onto plane, skiing and wake boarding is all that matters to me. After some high speed running and watching the fuel gauge drop rapidly at that speed, I can see that the high top speed game is for rich people that don’t mind draining their pockets on gas. Watch out for Big Block, it’s a 430 or stay home. :)

Captains report when your using her fully loaded please. Sounds like a fun boat. Yep 430 or bust. I'll take a 380 though. Just looking at the 10 year plan. Need some of these boats on the market then. Take great care of her.

Well, it needs to be known that if anyone hits the lottery, it’s a free ticket for BB to order his dream sickle however he wants it!

I gotcher back brother. 👍
Since it will be coming from a lottery winner, you may need to call your buddy Pack to see how much HP we can wedge in the mororbox!
If it comes from me, we may need to remove the aft backwards seat to make room for a little extra power.

I'm sure Dad (I call him that now) won't mind. He will put his best engineer on it. 1650s coming. R25? R26? I can wait to see what Dad can come up with.

Don't you have to break it in first? :)

Well, apparently my wife is much better at taking pictures than I am! Here are two shots, not very inspiring ones, but you get the idea. I need to take more pics when we are back up this weekend. The one picture shows the old boat in the new boat, so sad to lose my pontoon but we are already enjoying the R3!
It is a 2019 R3 Surf with the 350HP, seems to have plenty of power for me. We love orange (kinda have to with this one).
