I'd like to think that I would notice now, since I'm much more familiar with the boat, but I'm not sure, especially with the EVC handling the trim.
I do put a hair tie around the throttle when they platform comes out though, to remind me to check. That has saved me a few times.

Not a bad idea nstk4lng. I may try that technique.
In the past, we have had that platform ladder up and down 10-15 times an outing while doing water sports-- due to the amount of kids we took out.

That may change next summer now that the numbers are down-- and we have the extended swim platform which may not even need it's ladder extended for the kids to "hop" up onto being that it is at water level.
In any event, it's a cheap reminder using a hair tie. And as I age, that ladder will be used. Thanx.
