It came with it and with the other 3 220s I had. Do you have the divider already?
I wonder if I have one laying around?

Dam it sucks getting old. I can't remember crap. I guess I'll have to look now. Correction last 2 boats. Yellow one did not have them. Double checked pictures. I'll still have to look.

I have the divider, but it seems not as tall as yours and there is no rack.

Nope much smaller. You can buy a larger piece of starboard and maybe make your own rack. There really isn't anything to it.ebcolema wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 7:24 am 2008-COBALT-220-Buford-Consigned-C31669-440003.jpg

Re: 220 engine died while underway
I'm having similar issues with my 1994 Cobalt 220 5.7 Volvo Penta.
Long story short, I just put a new motor in it and had one good day out on the lake but then the following weekend it cranks over and over but doesn't start. When I removed and checked it there is spark coming through the #1 spark plug wire. When I look down the carburetor and pump the throttle arm there isn't fuel spraying and it doesn't smell like gasoline either. The fuel pump is mechanical.
How does the fuel/water separator work? Can that block fuel from reaching the carburetor if it is very old? I did not replace that yet.
Also have not replaced the distributor cap, but I did put in a new ignition coil.

Hey 512Cobalt, welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!
Great job finding the spark coming through your wire. Time to replace those....as well as all plugs and filters.
If you have no electric or mechanical (or both) fuel pump operating, then there is no fuel pressure and this will keep fuel from being pushed to the carburetor.
Not sure how old your water separating fuel filter is but by the sound of things, this would be a great place to start. Water is heavier than gasoline and this filter will allow the heavier water to collect at the bottom of the fuel filter. You normally don’t see a complete blockage though.
How old is your gas?
Btw, feel free to start a new thread if you have the time. We enjoy reading how folks get into boating and their precious Cobalts. ....and post a pic or two.
