Yep, I ticked the “mooring cover” box when ordering my 210, but only use the cover for towing and storage as I never moor or overnight dick the boat.

What does dickin the boat mean? Having trouble with mental picture

I wasn't sure if he was being a dick to it or what.
The good thing is we got 1 day to pick on him before he locks it down.

I guess he’s a dick to his boat because he never puts the cover on it in the water

So what I plan to do, when the shrink wrap comes off next weekend, is see if the Sharkskin cover fits like the Sunbrella cover, and modify the Sharkskin cover via a upholstery shop to put cover ratchet/tightening device on the back of the cover so I can tighten the cover while standing, or from my aluminum boat, at the swim deck while the boat is on the mooring. I also bought a hangtyte for the tower (no cockpit cover poles needed) so I need the upholstery shop to install that too (need to mark its installation location). After spending 5-6 hours on the water, I hope to install the modified sharkskin "mooring" cover in about 10 minutes.

Finding and installing the cover ratchet device may be a problem. I wish a vendor did all this work.
BTW - the Sunbrella cover is a great trailer cover but it heavy and bulky and stored in the garage. The Westland Sunbrella cover also has vents.

Update: modified the Westland sharkskin cover by installing a hangtyte to the tower and made two square knots on each side P & S of the cover where the 4 tie hooks are supposed to be located. I then opened the cover at the swim platform to expose the rope being careful not to cut the seam. Then I cut the rope at the stern (swim deck) and installed two tie hooks. Now a have a mooring cover I can tighten up at the stern with the stern tie hook. And whats better is NO SNAPS! The two swim deck tie hooks are at the water line. Still need a pole for the bow and maybe one back aft.

BTW - I would never do these mods to my Westland Sunbella cover which I use a trailer cover and has the straps.
