I even prefer the styling of the 262 over the R7 i.e. gauges vs Garmin displays etc.. Our current boat, which resides in Lake Havasu AZ, is a 1999 Four Winns 200 Horizon that we bought new, it has a VP 5.0 GI, I always regretted not getting the larger engine and don't want to make the same mistake again.

Hi John,

My wife and I are both retired military and are also living our lake dream after moving here last October. The original 262 that I was looking here at LOTO had the 320hp motor, the one we ended up buying out of Tennessee was a year older but has the large 8.1L 400hp motor. I was shocked how much get-up and go it had when we sea trialed it. Cant wait to get it on the water here, we are waiting for the lake level to come up to get our lift installed.

What mile marker do you live at. I'm at the 19mm. Hopefully they will bring the lake up in the next 2-4 weeks.
