As for launching, we drove around a couple weeks ago and checked out a few launches, but so far only launched in Fremont. Looks like a nice ramp at the public park in Winneconne, and I went to Jefferson Park Menasha once a few years back in the old boat and that seemed OK as well. Anywhere you would recommend?

Welcome aboard, great to see another local 220. Agree with BB, stay away from Jefferson. Way too many rocks near there. If your launching on winnebago go to neenah rec. Or winnebago county boat launch. Or you could head over to high cliff. I think most of the launches on the river are good. Lake winnebago has some rock piles and low spots so if you are unfamiliar with the lake I would get some sort of chart plotter, or use your mobile device.

Sounds good, I will stay away from Jefferson Par, I remember it was a pretty shallow ramp, and Jeep started to slide in since it covered in algae. Had to have someone stay in and hold the brake so the front wheels would hold the trailer in. I will certainly check out the launch in Neenah, much closer than High Cliff. I am new to the lake, so a little nervous, as expected. I plan to use Navionics, which seems to have decent reviews.

I am new to the lake, so a little nervous, as expected. I plan to use Navionics, which seems to have decent reviews.

Navionics should work fine. I know a couple of people that have used it and seem to like it. Now if the weather would just clear up.

It certainly feels quick. Almost got 63 on the GPS, i think its got a few more MPH in it still.
