Lakeman what's the story behind your 252? You said you've had your eye on her for 10 years? Tell us about it. And give us some side by side comparisons from your Cobalt and your Baja.
I have a friend on our dock with a Baja and he's wanting to upgrade. Next weekend I'm going to take him out for an early morning run and let him drive. Not many people I'd do that with but his boat handling skills are over the top so I'm going to let him drive all the way. Maybe make a convert!

My neighbor had bought the Cobalt back in 2007. I had bought myBaja in 2004. Always admired the Cobalt. Had worried him for years about selling her. He finally decided to let her go. I have been checking them out for years. Thought about a R5 then R7 but never pulled the trigger The Baja has been a great boat but in rough water you can take a beating. She is in great shape and my son loves it

I think your friend will be sold on the Cobalt. Baja is a good fun boat but can't compare to a Cobalt. That is my opinion hope I don't step on any toes!!
