Isn't that the same :-)

Dub, I was at the Louisville VP dealer yesterday. I wouldnt want my boat anywhere near that lot right now. They have boats stacked like firewood around that place. There isn’t hardly room to walk between boats on the property.

I just was at lodder and they told me two weeks. I got a call 4 days later with it being fixed. First come first serve there. Go there and get served πŸ˜‚

I've seen their lot before & totally agree. I ask the manager if I could bring boat in & get it fixed while I waited. Volvo in the letter said it would take less than an hour. There is no way would just drop my boat off & leave it. I'll just have to figure something else out. Lodders may end up being my best bet. Only problem with first come is they may not stock these parts. I'm trying to be calm about this because I've got no leverage with any of them. Going to call Stokley one more time. Thanks for the info.

Guys/Gals, thanks for input on this. Moving on, talked to Ralph Stokley this morning, very nice. Hopefully ordering parts. Will have to drop boat off & leave it but would rather leave it there than local VP dealer, which is a rats nest like 2ridgebacks said. If not a safety issue, may just boat & fix in the fall. Thanks for letting me vent. Bigger problems in the world.

Ralph is a good dude in my brief experience with him. I have a shopping list this year as my boat is nearing the dreaded 7 year mark.

BBP - I think that's when Cobalt stops guaranteeing they will stock and provide original (OEM) replacement parts. (you probably knew that already - lol).
