The pin was not teathered to the trailer. Bought a replacement for $5. Ended up putting another bolt on the swing away toung so that feature is eliminated. Was scary going down a mountain with 6k lbs out of control behind me

AJ, I missed that thread last year. Can't believe what some jerks think is funny. Appreciate you mentioning that as I would have never thought about it. Sorry about the damage. We had thought about the 2 pins that attach our Jeep to our motorhome & try to remember to check those at rest areas. We do have replacements just in case and now will do the same with the boat trailer.

Dub, if that happened to me coming down a mountain, you wouldn't want to be around the original front seat. It would most definitely need to be replaced. No spare, just replaced!

I just wanted to post in here because there's not too many topics in here.So here is my boat to do list.

1 Replace broken wheel stud.
2 Install new rims and tires.
3 Program my Bluetooth sensors in the rims and see how bad that app is.
4 replace bunks or at least carpet
5 replace the 140 tstat to 160
6 install starboard leds in the blower vent
7 maybe get a amp and power up the bow speakers and a sub
8 change the fuel filter
9 make sure my tower fits.
10 buy a buffer.
11 install Hill Marine props

Vans they say the oil doesn't get hot enough. It's been like this for 15 years.
Ok the blue tooth tire pressure sensors are terrible. They won't load up and it kept loading till the battery drained on my phone. I couldn't get all 4 sensors to read at the same time.

I like the idea Of trailer TPMS. Maybe just a quick plug unit for those time your trailer then?

My temps show 175 but there is no Oil temp gauge which Ive had on previous boats. Example (496HO with 8qts Pan @4000 rpm for 10 minutes brings it to 240 degrees oil temp) . Idling or bringing to cruise speed of 2700rpm will mirror the engine temp) No signs of moisture in the oil.

No room for extra gauges but it would be nice to know

Well I just added wheel bearings to my list as well. The front left want so smooth when I just spun it. Rear was ok.

That bull was from 2007ish I think. To find the right one has been a pain even with engine code. I have to look at my housing to see what I have. Between closed cooling and not its a mess and diesels.
