I have pandora premium for $10 a month. You get:

Search and play any song
Create playlists — on your own or powered by Pandora
Download the music you want for offline listening
Unlimited skips and replays
Higher quality audio
Listen with no ads

I’ve really liked it. Had it for almost 6 months now.

I use iTunes, what I like about it is that all the music on my hardrives is available. If Apple doesn't have it they upload it into the Cloud. Plus all the other music in their catalog is available for streaming. I think it is $11 / month.

I'm with you Driller. I use Apple Music and created a "Boatin" playlist with around 750 songs to start. It's $10.99 a month with unlimited downloads.

Pondered since I'm a iPhone iTunes guy. Are those permanent down loads you keep? And can synch to your home pc via cloud??

As I understand the system looks at your iTunes library, recognizes the tunes which you have on your computer and makes them available thru the cloud, or if it doesn't have the tunes on the iCloud it downloads them from your computer where you can stream them.

In my library I have a lot of bootleg stuff that I got in Norway from a guy who owned a record (that a large black disc for you youngsters) store and it is all available thru the cloud.

Having a diverse mix of music is always a win, especially for those boat trips. Can't wait for lake season to kick in!

Apologies for reviving this old thread, but I’d like to give my two cents. I totally agree, getting Spotify was a game-changer for me too. It's awesome that you and Katie have such a diverse mix for your boat trips. Collaborative playlists are a blast! Count me in for the cobalt chat playlist—I'd love to contribute and make it even more entertaining.

Since this has been revived, I'll add my two cents. We signed up for the Verizon plan that has free iTunes. We love it. My daughter never uses her radio in her car. I have some many boat playlists: Relaxing on the Boat, Going Fast, Sleeping on the Boat to mention a few.

If you're looking to increase your playlist's popularity on Spotify, you may consider getting some real spotify plays. It's a great way to reach a wider audience.
