Is that the only picture of the engine that you took? I can't believe they didn't put the ci size on it. The drive ratio is the common one. I'll check the numbers. This is what my last two engines showed.

Ok from what I see this is a 5.7 gi low output 300hp engine.
So that would be the correct rpm at wot that you should be hitting.
The long block part number is
3801410

So to the answer to my original question, if I'm hitting around 50mph at around 5000 rpm, I should be happy with that with this engine?

Yes. 50 mph at 5000 rpm is where it looks like you're supposed to be. However,
I'm sure there are other things you are going need that we can help you buy!
Underwater lights
Swim deck pads
Upgraded stereo, speakers, and amps
Do you have interior LEDs? If not...

Seagrass carpet
Upgraded stereo, speakers, and amps
Electric over Hydraulic brakes
