Ytmsn wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2019 8:27 am Nice Tusc! I love a white truck. Easier to keep clean and looks good all the time. But white seats? That wouldn't work in my world. White seats in the boat is enough for me!
Haha, I know..🥴, but It’s more of a summer sports car old man “bone” I’m tossing to myself than an actual work truck. It’s pretty light I know, but I am a clean freak and hopefully it’ll be fine. We’re keeping the GMC for the business dirty work.
My last Ford was light tan but held up extremely well without getting blue stained from jeans.. My wife’s Expy is basically the same light color as well.
I’m just not a dark interior guy. My GMC is all black and I find it lifeless, especially since the sun goes away for 5 months now... Great for work though.

The Limited Package interior seating is a supposed step above in leather quality. We’ll see. The entire interior is 100% soft leather. Whole seats, dash, doors, center console, with a faux suede headliner. Hopefully it holds up.
The truck is scheduled for 12-16 build, so I should see it sometime in January. Just in time to not drive it.🤣

I would get the interior protection added from your dealer. That will help on the blue dye transfer. And if it doesn't come out they will replace it. It's good stuff I tell ya!
I also prefer a light tan or gray interior. Then black or mocha.
Black with red stitching or accent color is sharp.

Good advice. I think the worse chance for color transfer is from raw blue jeans. Without a stone wash, its a walking blue stain ready to happen..

I never buy them because I’m an acid washed kind of guy who loves the rips and holes.🤣🤣🤣🤣

And you look darn good in those Jeans. I'm glad you shaved your legs for that picture though

Who is going to be hooking this up to their boat trailer in a couple years?

I thought it was FUGLY when I first saw it. Now it's grown on me and I want one.

The tri motor would fit the bill to pull the R7. But idk it’s just so darn ugly. It looks like the warthog from the old halo games.

BB and I couldn’t put our fingers on it but I think I found it’s original concept. ( 1977 film Damnation Alley “)

I’m just hoping the tesla truck pushes the big 3 to get on the EV bandwagon. I know all of them have prototypes in the works as well. So the next few years should be pretty interesting.

I know Ford has an F-150 ev ready to go. I imagine GM and FCA also have one in the works. 10 years down the line will look a lot different.
To clarify, I’m referring to the kindergarten styling, and not the power source.

That whole unveiling presentation was a train wreck, even before he broke the 'bullet proof' windows. That thing is hideous. I'd expect a redesign before production starts, and the driveline and options look good on paper. .

+1 I agree. I watched the presentation live and kept waiting for the 'real' pickup to appear. Hope they can pull this off.

I suspect (hope) the design is refined before being manufactured too. Their semi truck, and all of their other vehicles, seemed so much more elegantly designed than this.
